As a community-minded group of professionals, CBEA is proud to support these organizations that have a positive impact on students and families in the Central Bucks School District:
CB Cares Educational Foundation
CB Cares Educational Foundation is a community coalition of individuals, businesses, and agencies, whose goal is to promote positive values, attitudes, and behaviors, particularly in our community's youth. For over 18 years our mission has been to engage, empower, and link individuals and organizations to meet this end. The framework for CBCEFs' programs and initiatives is the 40 Developmental Assets, a research-based approach to cultivating the most important qualities which create caring, competent, and resilient individuals. The more assets an individual possesses, the more likely they are "protected" from the risk factors that face them in their daily lives.
The Peace Center
The Peace Center is located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. We have been working for community peace and social justice since 1982. Our programs are designed to help reduce violence and conflict in our schools, homes and communities through a multicultural, community-based approach. We are dedicated to furthering peace by understanding and managing conflict in our community, our nation and our world.
Relay For Life
Created in 2004 by CBEA teachers, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Central Bucks Middle Schools is held each spring at Tohickon Middle School. Participants in 8th and 9th grade have raised over 3 million dollars in the fight against cancer since the inception of this event, which involves over 5,000 members of our community annually.
High School Theater Productions
The theater programs at all three high schools strive to not only offer professional-level production but also great learning experiences. This is done by making sure that students are involved in all aspects of the production. Each school performs at least two full productions a year!
Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund
The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund was established to help families caring for children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and injuries. The Fund provides financial assistance for needs not covered by insurance, respite programs, and non-cash items to families in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, and advocates for and provides information to families nationwide.
